East Lansing Art Fest Winners Announced
14 exhibiting artists took home awards from the 49th annual East Lansing Art Festival.
Selected by an on-site jury consisting of local artists, art educators and other individuals with art backgrounds, the award-winning artists of this year’s festival were:
Purchase Awards – a piece of work is purchased from the award-winning artist by the award’s sponsor.
MSU Federal Credit Union Diamond Award - $1,500, Painting, Ran Mu
Student Book Store - $500, Painting, Lynda Wallis
City of East Lansing - $500, Non-Functional Ceramics, Jody Delind

Raymond King Award for Painting (Lauren Ciesa and James P. Strouse) - $500, Painting, Luke Stretar
M.J. Bauries Jewelry Award - $300, Precious Jewelry, kara daniel
Best of Show/Galleries Award (Saper Galleries and Mackerel Sky) - $300, Drawing, Nancy Strailey
East Lansing Art Festival Photography Award (DCMI) - $300, Photography, Julie Schwarz
