Volunteers Beautify Downtown with Capital City Clean Sweep
It was a warm and muggy day Thursday for the annual Capital City Clean Swee in downtown Lansing.
Think of it as spring cleaning, where volunteers picked up garbage and cleaned gutters, all to make the area a little nicer.
"I think [it's] a piece, and a feeling of being part of downtown, and just wanting it to look nice. I just get a good feeling from it, myself," said Jen Wood of Downtown Lansing, Inc.
Some volunteers told us that while downtown didn't look terribly dirty, you will notice a difference.
