Felony Charges Dropped Against Breeders
Prosecutors have dropped the felony charges against the two breeders who had more than 350 dogs taken from their home this month.
George Burke and his wife Cheri of Allegan County instead pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of animal abandonment and cruelty to two or three dogs - instead of ten or more.
Both of them will also get a psychiatric evaluation.
They face jail time, community service, and fines when they're sentenced next month.
