It may be time for you to throw out that ketcup or mustard you've had in the fridge forever.

Ketchup can be kept for about six months, while mustard can last for a year.

The Food and Safety Inspection Service says mayo and salad dressing are only good for two months and should be tossed after that.

As for pickles, get rid of them after two weeks.
