You won't be able to collect food stamps or welfare if you've won a huge chunk of the lottery.

Governor Snyder signed legislation Wednesday, taking lottery winnings and other assets into account for people using the programs.

The bills come after Michigan officials twice found lottery winners using food stamps after collecting their winnings.
