UPDATE: Power Restored In Jackson County
Consumers Energy crews are working to restore power to thousands of homes and businesses Thursday night.
The power went out after a fuse at a substation blew. There's no word yet on what caused the fuse to blow.
A spokesman for Consumers Energy says crews expect to have the lights back on by 9:00 p.m.
About 4,000 customers are without power in the outage.
