Homeowner Shoots At Thief
A Lansing homeowner shot at a suspected thief after finding the man in his home Tuesday evening.
Police say the man returned to his home on the 700 block of Cleveland around 5:25 p.m. and saw a man run from the back of his house.
The homeowner went inside and found another man inside.
He recognized the second suspect, and fired a shotgun at him.
The second suspect was not injured and left the home.
When police arrived, he directed officers to the home where the suspect lives; he was taken into custody.
That man is expected to be arraigned today.
The police are still looking for the first suspect.
