Shooting in Lansing Late Wednesday Night
LANSING - A man is shot in Lansing late Wednesday night. Police were called to the 1100 block of W. Lenawee Street at about 10:15PM for a report of shots having been fired. When police arrived they found several shell casings in the street.
While at the scene, officers were told a man with a gunshot wound had arrived at the hospital. Police says the 27-year-old man had been shot while sitting in the rear seat of a car. The car had several bullet holes. The victim is in stable condition. Police way witnesses told them that people have been gathered in the area following a funeral. No arrests have been made.
