The dog who kept Spartan football fans entertained at halftime from 2001 to 2007 has passed away.

Zeke the Wonder Dog died of old age Saturday. The black lab-pointer mix was the second "Zeke" to catch frisbees and perform tricks - a Spartan tradition since 1977.

Zeke's owners are requesting any memorials or contributions be made to MSU's College of Veterinary Medicine General Scholarships fund.
