Former Detroit State Lawmaker Part of Drug Bust
Former Detroit State lawmaker is among 12 people charged in a drug investigation in the southeast corner of the state. Ken Daniels severed in the Michigan House through 2004. Prosecutors say the ring he was in is linked to more than 60-pounds of heroin, 24-pounds of cocaine and a half-ton of pot. He's accused of structuring two bank transactions to evade certain reporting requirements.
