Center Finds Kwaske Competent to Stand Trial
We should know by the end of the week if a Jackson man will stand trial in the gruesome death of his neighbor.
The Center for Forensic Psychiatry says Leo Kwaske is now competent to stand trial in the death of Shirley Meeks. She was found decapitated in her Reed Manor apartment last October.
A hearing is scheduled for Friday morning, where a judge will either accept or reject the center's findings.
