Michael Patrick also asked Ilitch about the Detroit Tigers' acquisition of first baseman Prince Fielder - news of his deals sent shockwaves around the state of Michigan and the sports world in general. Denise Ilitch is the daughter of Tigers owner Mike Ilitch.
