Celebrating Michigan's 175th Birthday
Congratulations to the state of Michigan -- it's 175 years old as of yesterday, and doesn't look a day over 150.
Michigan joined the union as America's 26th state back in 1837.
The Michigan Historical Museum is celebrating the occasion Saturday. Free cake, people in costume, craft demonstrations, historical re-enactments, and important documents will all be on display.
