Friday, November 16th marks the 28th annual Silver Bells in the City event in downtown Lansing, which brings thousands to the downtown area each year.
This year marks the first time that FOX 47 will air the parade live on television for viewers who are unable to attend the parade in person. There will also be repeated airings of the 28th annual parade on FOX 47.

Coco Jones, a 14-year-old Disney star, has been announced as the featured performer following the parade.
