We haven't made it to Thanksgiving, but it's officially Christmas time in Lansing.

Governor Snyder lit the millions of lights on the state Christmas tree Friday at the annual Silver Bells in the City celebration.

The event also included a parade, fireworks, and for the first year ever a "fun run" through downtown. Disney Radio star Cody Simpson performed after the tree-lighting.
