Playing house just took on a whole new meaning for two young Michigan girls.

For 5-year-old Avery and 1-year-old Violet, all they have to do is step out of their Highland home and into their own playhouse. And it's not any playhouse.

The structure stands at two stories high, has crown molding, cherry wood and even a loft room. Attached is a rock wall and a slide for a quick exit.

The girls' father, Adam Boyd, is a builder and constructed the legendary playhouse in his spare time.

""I'm just a normal father that knows how to build and wanted to do something special," he said.

Boyd said much of the material was recycled and came from scraps at his building company.

He's had so much success with the playground, that he's now started his own company making elaborate playhouses called Spoiled Rotten Homes.

"I didn't expect very much to happen. I was just doing this for my daughters and it just exploded," said Boyd.

Boyd said a replica of his playhouse would probably cost anywhere from $50,000-$60,000.
