Another update on Thursday's shootings in Grand Rapid. Police say the shooter used a stolen gun.

Officials say the 40-caliber pistol was stolen from a home in Kent County. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is tracing its history.

Investigators say they're still trying to figure out what motivated 34-year-old Rodrick Dantzler to kill his two ex-girlfriends, his 12-year-old daughter and four others.

Dantzler has a criminal background dating back to 1992, which bars him from owning a gun. His mother and at least three other women had protective orders against him.
