This is the woman police say robbed a bank in Lansing earlier this week.

34-year-old Ashley Christie was arraigned on bank robbery and armed robbery charges Friday. She's a habitual offender who faces up to life in prison if convicted.

Police say she held up the Fifth Third Bank on South Pennsylvania Avenue Wednesday afternoon. Investigators say Christie indicated to a bank employee she had a weapon and took some money before running off. No one was hurt.

Officers saw her running away from the scene and were quickly able to arrest her. Evidence of the robbery was also recovered at the scene.

Christie is scheduled to be in Judge Clarke's court room for a pre-exam conference on Friday, January 27th, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
