A 49-year-old Lansing man was sent to the hospital with a life threatening injury after a stabbing outside his home Friday night.

Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of S. Clemens Street around 10:30 p.m. September 22.

Police say his girlfriend, 22-year-old Kaci Orweller-Wallace, and him had an argument that lead to the stabbing. Wallace had fled the scene before police arrived.

Police found her walking in the 1800 block of E. Michigan later that night. She was arrested without incident, and is now facing charges.

She's charged with 1 count of assault with intent to murder, and scheduled for a probable cause conference on 10/5/17 at 1:30 p.m. Her preliminary examination is set for 10/12/17 at 10:00 a.m.

The man is in stable condition as of Monday.
