Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio says running back L.J. Scott now has a valid driver's license, just two days after he was arrested again for driving on a suspended license. That is at least the sixth time Scott has been arrested on a license-related charge in the last two years. He pleaded guilty to "Equipment Violation" and paid $560 fines and court costs to 54-B District Court in East Lansing. Scott will play in Saturday's homecoming game against Indiana but Dantonio says his status will be "affected." Here is the coach's full statement:

“In what has been a lengthy process, LJ Scott now has a valid driver’s license, free of any restrictions. He has resolved the matter completely, and has paid a price, both financially and publicly. His status will be affected for Saturday’s game, but he will play.”
