The Eaton County Sheriff's Department has arrested two suspects in connection with a homicide in Delta Township earlier this month.
On the evening of July 5, 2016, deputies responded to an EMS assist at a residence on Oakcrest Drive in Delta Township. A family member had found the resident of the house, 78-year-old John Abraham, unconscious and not breathing, with an apparent injury. When deputies arrived at the home, they were told by EMS that the man had died.
The two suspects, a 26-year-old male suspect and a 25-year-old female suspect, both residents of Lansing were arrested by Eaton County Sheriff's Detectives and are lodged in the Eaton County Jail.
They were arrested on July 22, after an investigation by the Eaton County Sheriff's Department led to a search warrant. Officers from the Lansing Police Department assisted Eaton County Detectives in the search.
The suspects will be arraigned in Eaton County District Court in Charlotte today at 1:30 p.m. At 2:00 p.m. the Sheriff's Department and Eaton County Prosecutor will hold a press conference to discuss the case.
