Authorities say nobody was injured when a garbage truck was hit by a train in southwestern Ionia County on Tuesday.
The Ionia County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident on Hastings Road in Clarksville at 11:13 a.m.
Investigators believe the driver of the garbage truck ignored the railroad crossing sign.
The crash is still under investigation.
