Brittani Hill, the mother of a baby boy whose body was found in a shallow grave in a rural part of Jackson County is back in Michigan where she will face charges. Police believe the child was between 6-12 months old, and had been buried within the last five to seven months.

Jackson police found the baby's body after Dayton police got an anonymous tip. The grave was at a residence on Tophith Road in Waterloo Township.

She and the child's father, Timothy Young, were being held by police in Montgomery County, Ohio, while they waited to be extradited to Michigan. Young remains in Ohio, where he faces additional charges.

Hill waived extradition; she was transferred to Jackson County Jail on Thursday, July 28, 2016, where she will face charges relating to concealing the death of an individual and removing a body without a medical examiner's approval.
