A 70-year-old Mason woman has died after crashing her car in Lansing Tuesday.
It happened just before 6 p.m. on Mount Hope Road near Aurelius Road.
Lansing Police tell FOX 47 News the woman was driving east on Mount Hope when her car left the roadway, hitting a utility pole and a tree.
She was rushed to a local hospital, where she later died.
She was the only one in that car.
Mount Hope was shut down for nearly three hours while crews investigated the scene. It has since reopened. "
Police are still working to find out why her car left the road.
