The vehicle involved in the hit and run accident has been located and the suspect has been identified and is in custody.
Charges will be sought through the Ingham County Prosecutor’s office.

Meridian Township Police officers are investigating a Monday morning accident that injured a 13-year-old child and her mother.
The two were in Haslett along East Lake Drive near Oak Park Trail at about 7 a.m. Monday waiting at a school bus stop when they were struck by a vehicle. Both were taken to Sparrow hospital. Their conditions are not being released at this time.
Meridian Police say the only description they have is a light colored vehicle was observed leaving the scene, traveling South on East Lake Drive.
