Lansing Police are looking for a person suspected in the robbery of a Marathon Gas station in Lansing. The incident took place on Sunday, April 23, 2017 around 10:35 p.m.

Police say the suspect went into the station with a long gun and approached a station employee, demanding money. The employee gave the suspect money; police say the amount of money taken has not been determined.

The man left the gas station and was last seen running south. Nobody was injured during the robbery.

Police along with the help of K9s tracked the suspect from the business, but lost the scent in the 1200 block of Pompton Circle. Police say the suspect may have gotten into a car in that area.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 6'0" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with fur around the hood, black pants, and a black scarf covering the lower part of his face.
