An injured dog named Molly continues to recover after being hit at a busy intersection.

Community reactions pour in on the Ingham County Sheriff's office Facebook page after the owner left a heartwarming voicemail following the rescue of the two dogs.

On Wednesday, Sept. 20, Deputy Ryan Kuch responded to the intersection of Holt Road and Cedar Street. Once he arrived on scene, he noticed two dogs that had been struck by a car fighting to survive.

Deputy Kuch quickly loaded both dogs into his patrol car and rushed them over to the MSU College Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Medical Center clinic.

Molly is now in the care of Doctors Reich and Stastny until she recovers from this incident.
