Hoses and hydrants didn't do firefighters much good when they were called to a business in Lansing on Thursday.
Some titanium dust particles ignited in a machine at Techemet on Aurelius Road. Titanium fires get worse if you put water on them, so firefighters had to use their powder extinguishers to put it out.
One employee was taken to the hospital. We are working to find out how that person is doing.
