Eastern Michigan has named Erin Kido its interim athletic director.
The school says Kido will begin her new role Saturday while EMU completes its search for an AD. The spot was previously held by Heather Lyke, who left to take the same position at Pittsburgh in March. EMU initially named Christian Spears the interim AD , but he also left to take a job in Pitt's athletic department.
Kido is in her third year as the senior associate athletics director for administration at EMU.
