No Secret Lansing Deals is a Facebook group that was created in October 2016.

It's spokesperson TJ Bucholz, CEO and President of Vanguard Public Affairs, a multi-client firm that represents 14 clients, says it's a coalition of small business owners and concerned Lansing citizens.

"The group just asks serious questions ," he said." It's just a news aggregator that amplifies questions the media and other advocacy organizations across the region are asking about the City Hall and Mayor Virg Bernero. "

"It's a bunch of nonsense, a bunch of crap ," says Bernero.

The Facebook group has the attention of the Mayor Bernero because he believes the page is directed towards him.

One post refers to the Mayor as hashtag Lansing's Trump.

"It's a bunch of nonsense and a bunch of crap,"says Bernero.

Bernero believes State Rep. Andy Schor and Bucholz are behind this since he says Bucholz and Schor are good friends.

"I see another ambitious politician that who will say and doing anything and will scratch and claw his way to the top," says Bernero.
"I think that is very disappointing, and I challenging Andy again to join me in running a clean campaign."

Bucholz says the Facebook group is here to stay and will continue to raise questions for the public.

"There are thousands of people across the city that are tired of the same antics from this administration," Bucholtz. mentions.

Bucholtz also says Schor has no knowledge of what No Secret Lansing Deals does and doesn't know if Schor will run for Mayor.

"Schor and I are friends," he said. "It is Schor's decision not mine whether or not he runs for mayor."

State Representative Andy Schor released a statement to FOX 47 News:

"I am finalizing my decision-making process and look forward to sharing that with Lansing and the region next week. I am not now and never have been involved in any way with any of the dark money groups here in Lansing. Not No Secrets, not Reform Lansing, not Capitol Region Progress. I am disappointed that Mayor Bernero's first act in announcing his re-election is to attack me. "
