It’s time to say hello, or hello again to sequels coming soon that movie critic David Ramsey says you should definitely check out this year. Here are three movies that won’t suck in 2017!
1. The Lego Batman Movie
Release Date: Feb. 10, 2017
Unlike most sequels, this one is going to be terrific. It's more of a spin-off to The Lego Movie which was absolutely brilliant, and they're taking the Batman character who was great in the film and giving him his own movie. Both children and adults are going to love this one.
2. John Wick: Chapter 2
Release Date: Feb. 10, 2017
John Wick was a surprisingly great film and Keanu Reeves was terrific, It was like it was built for him. It has a lot of the action, lots of blood and gore, but really well done. Reeves is back, the whole creative crew is back and this sequel is one to look forward to.
3. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Release Date: May 5, 2017
The first one was fabulous surprise hit and many now consider it one of the best comic book movies of all time. In Vol. 2 there's going to be more comedy, more action, and Baby Groot instead of the big Groot, It’s going to be exciting to see how it leads up into the continuation of the Marvel Universe.
