A Jackson man is facing several charges after leading police on a high speed car chase. Cops say the 49-year old Jackson man stole a TV from a Walmart and hopped in the back of a cab. The cab driver eventually stopped and got out, and the suspect climbed over the seat. The suspect got behind the wheel and took off. Police chased him for a dozen blocks before he crashed into a sign and curb. And was arrested. The Jackson man is expected to be charged with carjacking, resisting arrest and felonious assault on a police officer.
