Hundreds of people came out Sunday, braving the cold to participate in Lansing's Polar Plunge. They were raising money for Special Olympics in Michigan, and the annual event took place at the Eagle Eye Golf Course.

Jumpers were also judged on their costumes, which included Scooby Doo and princess themes.

Lawmakers will be taking the 'plunge' next. The legislative polar plunge will be this Thursday. They'll jump into a pool on the Capitol Lawn.
