Dog Left for Dead in Hunter Park Is Recovering

You'd never know this dog was recovering from a case of abuse.

Ingham County Animal Control rescued Serenity the pomeranian last weekend, and say she's doing great. More than a dozen people have already signed up to adopt her.

Crews say she's stolen everyone's heart at the shelter.

Someone cut her throat and left her in a box in Hunter Park on Saturday.

$700 is being offered to find who did it.

Volunteers from the shelter plan on handing out reward flyers on the streets near Hunter Park this weekend to get more tips.
