We're continuing our coverage of the weekend NASCAR crash that injured a mid-Michigan couple. Steve and Gaylene Johnson of Leslie were seriously injured when a 75-pound steel plate came flying at them. They were sitting in the Sprint tower upper deck seats in front of the finish line. Gaylene was hospitalized for internal bleeding, and both ended up with 30-stitches.  The Johnsons were seated in section zero in the 30th row, we recently spoke with Gaylene's sister who said Steve was released from the hospital Monday.  Gaylene is expected to be released sometime Tuesday night. They plan to stay in Florida for a week or two to recover. Steve's favorite driver and the winner of Saturday's race-- Tony Stewart-- visited them in the hospital.
