On Monday, students in Jackson wore badges of courage to commemorate what would have been Parks' 100th birthday. A new stamp in her honor was also unveiled by the U.S. Postal Service.

The Forever Stamps were on display at the Henry Ford Museum Monday, which also has the actual bus where Parks refused to give up her seat.
