If you are looking to have a cold brew surrounded by friendly faces and a scenic view, travel no further than the Waterfront Bar & Grill, which is kicking off Beer Week.

Waterfront has a wide selection of local and national craft beers, with eight of them rotating during the summer season to offer patrons' palates something different.

"Our employees have been here been doing this for a long time, and are pretty knowledgeable about the brews we do have from all of the craft breweries we have," said Manager Logan Gonzalez. We've got Founders, Perrin, Keweenaw, Shorts...we have them popping up all over. I can go on and on."

When you stop in, be sure to check out the wooden bar. It as handmade by the owner and his sons, with the wood primarily coming from wood downed trees in Williamston caused by the tornado.

"He wanted it U-shaped so people could talk to each other," said Patrice Drainville, Vice President of Operations for Simmons Properties.  "He wanted a social bar, and it was small at first, but has since provided reason for expansion. "
