Today on the Buzz List, the people over at CNBC crunched the numbers and found the cheapest states to live in. Teresa Strasser is checking out three of the places in America that won't cost you an arm and a leg to live in.

3.  Michigan

The average home price in the great lakes state is a little over $270,000 and to power that home will cost you around $175 per month. CNBC also included a fun metric like how much a T-bone steak goes for which is a little over $13. Maybe that'll entice you to moooo-ve on over to Detroit.

2.  Indiana

A home in the Hoosier state also averages a little over $270,000 and you'll be saving on groceries because a half gallon of milk is about $1.75. Interestingly enough, it's also home to the recreational vehicle and Motor Home Hall of Fame. Who knew there was such a thing?

1.  Mississippi

The average home price here is just under $200,000 and a doctor’s visit will cost you around $82. The Magnolia state also has a soft price on soft drinks. A two-liter bottle of Coke goes for about a $1.50. Isn't that sweet!
