"Adult Lives Change at Your Library" - Author Swap

  • Print

During the month of April libraries across the country are encouraged to celebrate the contributions of our libraries and librarians to promote library use in their community. In keeping with the 2014 theme "Lives Change @ your library" the Grand Ledge Library has created a series just for adults. This month long series will be held on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm in the Historical Meeting Room of the main location of the Grand Ledge Library located at 131 E Jefferson St., Grand Ledge. A relaxing atmosphere will be set with the warm fireplace, candles and soft lighting; refreshments will include wine (the sparkling non-alcoholic variety) and cheese. THURSDAY, APRIL 10th @ 6-8pm - Author Swap Find your new favorite author! Browse displays of authors and read-a-likes. Examples provided will cover: if you like James Patterson's novels - you might want to browse our Michael Connelly or Jeffery Deaver books, or if you like Karen Kingsbury - you'll want to check out the Beverly Lewis or Janette Oke display, and many more! Background music will be provided by local acoustic artists. Registration is not required-simply drop in and enjoy refreshments for the body and soul.
