Howl at the Moon

Meridian Township, MI- Enjoy the full moon while taking a guided walk through the moonlit woods of the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road on Friday, July 19 at 9 pm. Dogs are welcome and the group meets in the parking lot. The fee for the walk is $3/person due at the time of the walk. For more information, contact them at 517-349-3866 or
“Its fun to meet all of the dogs,” said Kati Adams, Harris Nature Park Naturalist. “They greet each other in the parking lot and then walk comfortably in a line through the woods.” It is not necessary to have a dog to attend the walk, however, participants are reminded that dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and flashlights are permitted but not a necessity.
