Jazz in the Jackson Lounge featuring Carolyn Leonhart

  • Print

Jazz vocalist Carolyn Leonhart is one of New York’s most active singers today. A regular performer at the Jazz Standard and Smoke Jazz Club, she has been described as having an “intimate and soulful voice and broad tonal palette ... a singer who works intuitively, with a voice that projects both strength and vulnerability.” Not only a jazz singer, Carolyn’s voice and talent also caught the attention of Steely Dan, with whom she performs, tours and has recorded on numerous Grammy Award winning albums since 2001. This special fundraising event will benefit East Lansing’s Summer Solstice Jazz Festival and features an intimate, jazz-club atmosphere in Wharton Center’s Jackson Lounge. Seating arrangement is four-top tables in a Jazz Club style setting. 3 VIP Tables per performance: Includes meet & greet, Carolyn Leonhart & Wayne Escoffrey: Tides of Yesterday CD, and will be in one of three closest tables to performer for each performance. Seats sold individually at $150 each. General four-top table seating is $40 per seat. Cash Bar Available. For more information about the Summer Solstice Jazz Festival, visit:
