Monthly Plant Exchange
Share and Learn at the MWC's Monthly Plant Exchange Share some of your favorite plants, flowers, and gardening tips with others and take home some new varieties and ideas of your own during the Michigan Wildlife Conservancy's 2012 Plant Exchange Program. Coordinated by Friends of the Bengel Wildlife Center (BWC), the exchange is held the last Wednesday of the month during the growing season at the Michigan Wildlife Conservancy's headquarters at the BWC in Bath. This year's program will kick off May 25 and run through September 28. Plant Exchange participants may bring as many flower and/or plant species as they wish to exchange with others, and can take home up to five varieties more than they bring for a nominal fee of only $5 - all of which goes to support the work of the Conservancy. The only restriction is that known exotics or invasive species cannot be exchanged. It's not necessary to make a reservation to participate - just come to the Bengel Wildlife Center between 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on the day of our monthly Plant Exchange. For more information, call Jennifer at the Conservancy at (517) 641-7677 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
