When we bought tickets to Sunday's game a few weeks ago, we couldn't have anticipated how high the stakes would get. The Spartans have a piece of the Big Ten title, but they will fight Ohio State for the right to claim it all on their own.
On this Leap Day, in a week that will bring 50+ degrees to mid-Michigan, I can't help but feel one step closer to the glory of all that is springtime. And with springtime comes my punchy spring swinging clothes.
From middle school through grad school, my hair went through an array of changes - long, short, blonde, red, brown, permed, spiked with pomade. But now that I've kept it a natural color and am continuing to let it grow out, I'm wondering if I should once again give in to my need for change.
I saw a Cirque du Soleil show during my first trip to Las Vegas when I was in elementary school. Since then, I've been enchanted and entranced by many of their productions, and am thrilled that their traveling show Quidam will grace East Lansing with its presence this spring.
