Easy Craft Project: The Gap + Threadless T.I.Y. Beach Bag
I'm a huge fan of easy D.I.Y. projects, and so I was super excited when I received an email from The Gap that had something to say other than a 20% off sale or an announcement of the latest goods to hit stores.
This summer, The Gap is working with graphic t-shirt maker Threadless to give fans easy ideas for converting old tees into new items like headbands, pillowcases, and my favorite: the fringed beach tote.
Perhaps the reason why I love this particular crafty idea the most is that there is no sewing required. Some easy snips and knots create the perfect beach tote you can wash and won't mind getting messy in the sand and sunshine.
Imagine finally having a use for those free extra-large t-shirts you've been collecting, or the childhood cartoon tee you can't bear to give up despite it being way too small, torn up, or thin to wear in real life.
I might have plenty of crafty ideas pinned on my Pinterest boards, but this easy D.I.Y. idea is one I can imagine actually doing in this lifetime.
