Loving: No Doubt's New Single "Settle Down"
I was 10 years old when No Doubt's fabulous album Tragic Kingdom came out, and from then on that album has been one of my all-time favorites. It's such a time machine of songs that takes me back to my middle school self, worshipping the glamorous Gwen and listening to the CD on my Sony Discman.
In 2009, I finally had the opportunity to see No Doubt perform live at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Everything about the show was so fan-oriented, from what songs they opened and closed with ("Spiderwebs" and "Sunday Morning", respectively) to making sure every song performed was one of their best hits - and they have a lot of them to choose from.
It's felt like forever since their last album of new material, but I'm so excited that their new album Push and Shove will be released later this year.
The first single, "Settle Down," was recently released and it definitely lives up to the memories of classic No Doubt I've been harboring for years.
Check it out!
