Joshua Ledet absolutely killed it last night, closing out Wednesday's show with a cover of the Bee Gees' "To Love Somebody".
He has been one to watch from the beginning for me - I picked his rendition of Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts" as a favorite from the Hollywood auditions:
I'm also obsessed with his performance of "When a Man Loves a Woman". His swagger and soul in everything he does just makes him so dynamic and amazing as a performer. I love how he slips off his jacket at the end of this performance:
I hope that Joshua makes it all the way to the end. I am typically a fan of the quirky contestants, but Joshua has that old-school feel while still being so fresh and new. And he seems like a genuinely nice guy! This quiet, reserved guy just explodes on stage, and I love every minute of it.
In a perfect Idol world, he would be in the finals with Skylar Laine. If only!
