I have adored the bow tie and geek glasses-wearing Brad Goreski ever since he popped up on Bravo's The Rachel Zoe Project as her assistant. Now he has his own show, It's a Brad Brad World, on the network, which of course I have been DVR-ing.
In a recent episode, Brad talked frequently about his love for a POC - a Pop of Color - in any outfit. As I've mentioned in other posts, I'm a fan of color on top of color on top of leopard print, and then more color. But this morning, I put on my hot pink corduroy pants from the GAP and realized that I, too, could have a POC moment.
Instead of pairing these pink pants with a colorful top or pair of shoes, I stayed neutral to let the pants stand out on their own - not like electric pink pants need much help in that arena. It meant trading out my pink coat and purse for the day, but to achieve a POC moment, it was worth it.
Whether it's pants, a pair of socks, a scarf, or even a pair of glasses in a fun color, the POC moment is sure to brighten your outfit and your day.
