Had a nice little Saturday planned (think Will Farrell in Old School). Get some doughnuts, shop for pumpkins (how did I miss out on carving?), college football, head to Ann Arbor, and maybe a movie.
Doughnuts: good stuff at a local cider mill.
Pumpkins: no problem (but $7.99? That's a little steep.).
The Gophers throttled Purdue (what?!). The Spartans won against Wisconsin (that's just as good as a Minnesota victory).
Ann Arbor: not happening (highway shooter along I-96...I know I'd end up the guy shot).
Thank goodness for back-up plans and record stores. Not Best Buy, either. Real record stores.
The day concluded with the movie 'Looper.' I couldn't wrap my head around two things-- how Joseph Gordon-Levitt lost his hair and turned into Bruce Willis, and Jeff Bridges as a scraggly mob guy (I've typecast him from 'The Newsroom'). It's good, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept of 'the loop.'
Yeah. It was a nice little Saturday.
