Forget Friday. Thank goodness for Wednesday. I never thought I’d say that, but given the way Election Day and the weeks that led up to it played out—I’m glad it’s all over.
Had a nice little Saturday planned (think Will Farrell in Old School). Get some doughnuts, shop for pumpkins (how did I miss out on carving?), college football, head to Ann Arbor, and maybe a movie.

Music is always there for you. In good times. In bad. It's a special relationship we all have, and there always seems to be a perfect song to fit the mood.
I followed the story all morning and afternoon. Then came the hard part: going to work. Maybe the hardest part of my job is to report on something this devastating.
This week has made me reflect on one of my favorite songs of all time. And maybe the best thing about it is the fact the song, released in 1971, is still relevant— possibly even more-so today.
